AHD - Appalachian History Detectives

Channel focuses on metal-detecting–led exploration of Appalachian history. Videos document locating and recovering artifacts from colonial, pioneer and Civil War–era sites, restoring or identifying finds, and using those objects to reconstruct local homesteads, taverns, cemeteries and other site histories. Episodes often investigate site-specific mysteries (lost artifacts, cabin remnants, family or child-related tragedies) and frame discoveries within the Appalachian landscape and ancestral property.
