Breaking Down Patriarchy produces educational analyses of patriarchy’s origins and how patriarchal ideas shape social institutions and cultural practices. The channel repeatedly examines concrete areas where gender bias appears—e.g., wedding traditions, medical care, data and product design, and cultural narratives (myth, nostalgia, debates around drag)—and explores effects on both women’s lives and male development as well as concepts within contemporary feminism.
