The channel produces chronological, year-by-year histories and alternate (counterfactual) timelines of states and regions from antiquity through the early modern period. Recurring subjects include Near Eastern and Mediterranean polities (Achaemenid Empire, Assyria, Elam, the Mamluk Sultanate, the Middle East), regional histories (the Balkans, Reconquista, Norman Sicily), all presented in an “Every Year” chronological format.
