The channel focuses on historical overviews in two main strands. One strand is political and military history with an emphasis on Greek and Balkan topics (ancient conflicts like the Peloponnesian Wars and the Wars of the Diadochi, 18th‑century events such as the Orlov Revolt, and modern state and diplomatic history like the Modern Greek states and the Balkans and the Great Powers). The other strand is linguistic history, presenting surveys of language families (for example Mayan, Oto‑Manguean, Cariban, Muskogean and Araucanian).
