River Monsters publishes clips and full episodes of the Jeremy Wade series that document worldwide searches for large or dangerous freshwater fish. The channel repeatedly focuses on freshwater predators (catfish, piranha, arapaima, eel, barracuda and similar species), fishing expeditions across major rivers and lakes, and episode-style storytelling about capture attempts, local fishing methods, and encounters with aquatic wildlife.
